Travis received training at the Baltimore School of Massage (now the Cortiva Institute) in Linthicum, MD. The 768hr comprehensive program taught both Eastern and Western theories and techniques, as well as thorough courses in anatomy and physiology. He was instructed in Eastern style bodywork therapies such as shiatsu and accupressure, along with contemporary Western modalities such as structural bodywork, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and cranial sacral therapy. These techniques were laid over a solid foundation of Swedish massage and Deep Tissue therapuetic massage.
Travis is a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association and has been since 2014, when he completed his training and passed the MBlex national examination. He holds a First Aid / CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Travis enjoys using his skills to reduce tension, relieve pain, and restore range of motion. He will work with you to identify any problem spots and focus his efforts on the source of the issue, thus alleviating symptoms.
