Graduated from the New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts Bridgton, Maine campus in 2009. She has completed an extensive 800 hour course outline with education in Swedish massage, Neuromuscular Technique (NMT), Trigger Point, Sports, Deep Tissue, Mix Modality (orthopedic), Reflexology, Prenatal, Circulatory and Lymphatic Drainage. The course of study also included an in-depth education in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology as well as pathology, pharmacology, contagious disease, and much more. In addition, She has also taken continuing education courses in hot Stone therapy and Mu Xing warm bamboo, Thai Yoga, chinese cupping, nutrition & stress and their effects on the body. She also holds a certification in Nutrition and Fitness from Thompson Education Direct since 2003. In 2016 Kelly was certified as a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki level 2 practitioner. She is and has been a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 2010 and held a student membership in 2009. She is Board Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and holds a full CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
Kelly takes pride in her corrective remedial style of treatment. She customizes each individual treatment around the issue at hand, one treatment is never the same as the others. Kelly will use a mix of different modalities including but not limited to Swedish, Neuromuscular, Trigger Point, Sports, stretching, Thai and more; as well as tools she may deem necessary to use to get the best outcome from the session.
Kelly enjoys working with those who are involved in sports, recovering from injury or surgery, dealing with a chronic issue or auto-immune condition to help find the origin and cause to help alleviate pain and discomfort. She also enjoys working with those looking for a deep therapeutic approach to their treatments.
